During winter break I participated in a game jam hosted by game design students from my university. We were only limited by the theme (Social Deception/Control the World)  and the setting (Space/Medieval) that was given to each team.

I worked together with Lenz Kleiser and Manuel Wirth on “Planethesis”, an arcade-like game in which you take control of the world and its surrounding planets. The game takes place in medieval times, when the debate of a geocentric worldview clashed with the church's ideas of the universe. The player doesn’t actively choose a side in the beginning but can choose throughout the game whether to let through or block angels or paragliders. With each angel making its way to the earth, the worldview shifts to a depiction of the church's beliefs. On the other hand with each paraglider making its way out into the universe the worldview shifts into a scientific plan. The player wins once the whole universe has taken one of the two beliefs.
